A Case For Musical Dreams

Sometimes others see pictures and pass them along for others to see. This was the case when Dan pulled up in a patrol car and told me of the scene down the street and cautioned that I should hurry to catch it, as the refuse collectors were also down the street and moving quickly. As good fortune would have it I pulled up to the photo opportunity just when the driver had begun to clean up the garbage. I quickly jumped from my jeep and said boldly, "wait a minute please, there is a picture here that I would like to capture, if you could spare me the time to sort all of the pieces out."
Together with Dan, who also pulled up to check on the picture progress we all saw, what he saw and it made us think of our younger days and enthusiasm for art forms and passions in the 60's. The leaning guitar case has traveled many miles and probably has had just as many impromptu openings around campfire fire and living room gatherings. The owner of the case has probably let go of the passion the bumper sticker once heralded to the world, "music is my life" We assume that "the life" referred to and "the music played" will be passionately recalled, just like the 60's.
When we reach out and embrace our neighbors we see pictures that enhance everyday life in our own international community.
