George Langman is wearing dark sunglasses and clowning with friends who gave him an Hawaiian theme surprise going away party last Sunday. George has always been on the go it seems either flying airplanes, driving taxis and buses or engineering a train or living in a mobile home park. This highly motivated former Canadian and now American is about to become a a resident of Mexico. It seems appropriate for a fellow who has traveled to Iceland, Greenland. Scotland, Ireland, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Brazil, Norway, Switzerland, West Germany, Belgium, Britian and many more.
After calculating his retirement funds and determined not to grow old too quickly in a colder climate, this Birch Bay resident decided after visits to Mexico to learn Spanish and make definite plans to relocate his residence again. As an adopted kid he learned to make a lot of places his home and he's adapted to seeing God as The Supreme Being since he's attended Baptist, Pentecostal, Presbyterian and Catholic churches and served 24 years as a Free Mason. George has already made friends south of the border and hopes that his many northern friends will come visit him often.
When we reach out and embrace our neighbors we see pictures that enhance everyday life in our own international community.
