Seeing The Other Side

We have all heard the term "the other side" so often that we willingly agree on its meaning of nirvana, paradise, heaven or the place where all people go at the end of their days on earth. Various religions speculate on our next step or what we commonly refer to as "the afterlife." Persons who have encountered a near death experience most often say it is a brief but yet very personal encounter and conversation with their God. Those who have seen the other side are now firm believers that there is a true reality ahead of this lifetime that gives credibility to God's covenant of eternal life.
My dear aunt Margaret recently turned 90 years old. She has become very peaceful with her age and likewise has gracefully overcome a heart attack and pneumonia. A great comfort has come to her from a special vision that is most often only bestowed on spiritually gifted souls or those who have had the aforementioned near death experience. Margaret on occasion is able to see "the other Blaine" that looks like our town today only there is a very bright light shining over the harbor. Her loving parents and brothers Clarence and Lester recently materialized to cheer and encourage her.
When we reach out and embrace our neighbors we see pictures that enhance everyday life in our own international community.
