A Natural Summer Setting
We evolve as human beings as we learn to see our options and adapt to our environment's influences. During different times of the year our closest surroundings go unattended while we are distracted by the other deemed necessities. After months indoors sheltered from the weather while dealing with holidays, sporting events and news bulletins and at the same time voraciously reading the current bestseller...we venture outdoors. Now we can see the power of nature and it's ability to begin a massive attempt to reclaim the soil while growing up and then over everything left unattended.
Now that the summer season has officially begun and the temperatures are in the 80's we must finally rejuvenate the back yard. A relatively quiet winter is past and we are now abuzz with weed whackers, lawn mowers, tractors and leaf blowers. As we gaze at the project in front of us we must tell ourselves once again that summertime's most enjoyed moments are eating, reading and napping while sitting in this place...in our backyard that is nearest to real nature we are likely to get. As I go search for the gas can and I hear distant skateboard wheels I recognize that summer has arrived.
When we reach out and embrace our neighbors we see pictures that enhance everyday life in our own international community.
