The Birds, The Bees and More

There are moments in life when we clearly see transformation taking place right in front of us. Many times the make over is subtle and we have to look very closely to notice the mutation. A good number of scientifically minded individuals have created their careers around the study of such anomaly in life and are deemed experts in life's personality adjustments or body contour alterations. The most misunderstood shift happens when a boy thinks of becoming "a real man" and a girl begins to look and act very convincingly like "a woman." This is much more than simply "the birds and the bees."
Everyday life brings many lessons so that we eventually learn what is most important for us to accomplish in our lives. Our biological growth spurts are often attached to societal bench marks such as the high school senior prom. Mike Campbell (19) went last year and now returns for this year's performance this time with Julie Bays (18). They were not alone on the dance floor and the big competition to bring out the best "oohs and ahs" from their fellow graduates. This spectacle can be overwhelming and the consequences remembered and unexpectedly affect us years afterward.
When we reach out and embrace our neighbors we see pictures that enhance everyday life in our own international community.
