Grace and Vivian

Spring is the time of year that nature replenishes the earth with an array of plants and animals to keep the life cycle ongoing. Without this constant meddling by the universal force our lives would not exist as we know it today. The fact that our earth is struggling to survive should make each of us very much aware of what we can do to help the macrocosm remain a viable source of the nutrients and resources we need as a species to endure. Symbolically Springtime is an occasion for hope and expectation of divine intervention to restore all that we have absentmindedly neglected.
Grace Lukens holds a definite sign of spring's new hope. Only three days old this Saanen baby goat named Vivian will someday join the adult herd and keep the Grace Harbor farms goat milk production at its peak. Tim and Grace recently announced they will be moving their spread from its small Drayton Harbor Road location to a seven acre ranch with a large pole building on the Birch Bay Lynden Road. Leaving the original family home and farm has not been easy for Grace but she insists the Lord has really helped with her grieving process by bringing her hopeful signs of Spring.
When we reach out and embrace our neighbors we see pictures that enhance everyday life in our own international community.
